After spending two years as a prisoner of war in Germany, from 1943 to 1945, as a soldier who had not joined the RSI, after the war he enrolled at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna, where he graduated under the tutelage of highly esteemed artists including Giorgio Morandi, Giovanni Romagnoli, and Ercole Drei. He then embarked on a university course in Architecture, but abandoned it after a few years. For years, alongside painting, he combined his passion for making extraordinary kites, for which he is still remembered by many residents of Castel Bolognese who had met him as children on the village lawns. In 1981, he was invited to join the Committee promoting the National Monument to the Fallen in the Minefield Clearance, which was completed in Castel Bolognese on April 14, 1984, the day of its inauguration. In 1993, he was selected to create a work as part of the Painted Wall Biennial in Dozza; the large-scale work Reminescence is visible on the facade of a house on Via della Pace in Dozza. He has also participated in numerous group exhibitions in various locations throughout Romagna.\n","brand":"Francesco Violani","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":56218048921986,"sku":"fvio001","price":0.0,"currency_code":"EUR","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0909\/7065\/3058\/files\/Paesaggio-acrilico-47x35-1.jpg?v=1768470567","url":"https:\/\/cjfh11-ee.myshopify.com\/en\/products\/5-opere-di-bruno-violani","provider":"Venderequadri","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
