Cancogni begins, first and foremost, by synthesizing the subject, which is achieved through simplification and the emptying of plasticity with an elegant system of thin lines. He graduated from the Art School and then attended the Academy of Sculpture. His first exhibition was in 1970 at the Galleria Orlando in Forte dei Marmi. He has held numerous solo exhibitions in Italy and abroad, participated in art fairs, and appeared on major television programs.
