He studied drawing and painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Tunis. In 1961, he moved to Rome, where he continued his studies and graduated a few years later in 1967, graduating in decoration and scenography. Throughout his artistic career, he participated in various competitions in Italy and France, including winning the Paris Painting Prize. His works have been exhibited in New York and at the Paris Biennale.
