He exhibited in Italy and twice in Japan after a long stay in Great Britain. His paintings now bring to the halls of the Vittoriano Monumental Complex a vibrant explosion of color, a vibrant sense of nature with an ancient resonance yet a very modern edge. In Sannino's landscapes—in the fields of bright red poppies, in the tree-lined avenues steeped in melancholy, in the transparent waters where the pictorial material becomes sea, lake, river—nothing is contaminated by the pettiness of the everyday; everything is sublimated in a constant and direct flow between the soul and the canvas. His works are true \"landscapes of the soul.\"\r \nThe views of the three cities chosen as subjects—New York, Rome, and Naples—stand as metaphors for the existence each of us has immersed ourselves in almost without realizing it. Swift brushstrokes, darting splashes of color, construct urban landscapes devoid of human presence, \"undressed,\" in fact: stripped bare of their universal daily existence, stripped of the existence of cars, pedestrians, objects, and buses, to rise to an absolute, global dimension, in which the structure of the painting is stripped bare and becomes \"essential.\"\r \n“Undressed” is a project begun in 2010 in which each work depicts a place almost hidden from the eyes of passersby, seemingly suspended in a timeless atmosphere. The urban space in these large canvases is exalted, powerful in its structure. The feeling of nature constantly pervades the artist's work. The painter seems to transcend the malaise of frenetic daily life by capturing the mere form, the essence of urban landscapes that only an artist can transform through the power of a new vision.\n Sannino thus reclaims space and time and the viewer can see the reality in which he lives with different eyes.\n Sannino's art is both sunny and shadowy, imbued at times with the scent of the sea, at times with the scent of the city, and it is a fluid painting, filled at once with the golden light of sunsets and the leaden, ferrous greys of subway stations.\r \nThe artist himself exclaims, \"I paint what I breathe. I start from a dreamlike vision of the element of nature I wish to represent. The color is suggested to me by a visual emotion.\" A persistent and constant feeling for nature pervades every canvas.\r \nSannino's gaze caresses the air, earth, water, and fire, and his brush extrapolates the natural elements, sublimating them into a dreamlike vision. Thus, the viewer finds himself enveloped in crystalline transparencies, or in woods where one can almost feel the breath of the wind and golden leaves form autumnal avenues. The painter loves to focus not on distant seas, but rather on stretches of water caressing the rocks or plunging into abysses where the horizon is entirely internal, almost spiritual. These transparencies, as Sannino himself writes, imbue the work with a sense of extremely vital purity, leaving the viewer with a mirror of uncontaminated life, almost a tribute to the Neapolitan artist's Mediterranean roots.\u003c\/p\u003e","brand":"Stefanelli Stefania","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":56210336121218,"sku":"SSTE001","price":3500.0,"currency_code":"EUR","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0909\/7065\/3058\/files\/foto-opera-LUCREZIA.gif?v=1768389179","url":"https:\/\/cjfh11-ee.myshopify.com\/en\/products\/antonio-sannino-lucrezia","provider":"Venderequadri","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
