Faccincani's composition is primarily based on the distribution of color, with bright, almost Fauvist hues and a richness of light. This also underlies the artist's emphasis on flowers and vegetation, often in the foreground. Color shapes objects, and houses, flowers, and streets appear in essential forms, like patches of compact color. The space appears compressed and two-dimensional, resulting in the entire composition being resolved through an interlocking of objects attempting to arrange themselves on different planes.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\n \u003cp\u003eThe painter Athos Faccincani was born in Peschiera del Garda in 1951. His artistic career is distinguished by an initial, more expressionist phase, in which he painted a dark world, filled with suffering. It was a time when Faccincani frequented prisons and psychiatric hospitals to express this suffering.
