Specifically, in the visual arts, Surrealism sought to explore the human subconscious and translate it into artwork through a mechanical writing process based on dream analysis. Consequently, Surrealist artworks propose the representation of a dreamlike dimension, completely dissociated from reality. However, this representation often relies on a hyperrealistic formal rendering, precisely to paradoxically accentuate the illusory and ambiguous nature of the surreal dimension.\n\r \nThe surrealism of Helga Jahnke, the artist to whom this graphic work has been attributed, is essentially linked to the work of Renè Magritte. Indeed, as in the paintings of the Belgian master, her visions consist of apparitions of unlikely objects in plausible settings. All this creates a shift from the real to the surreal, sudden yet almost plausible despite its paradoxical nature. Compared to Magritte's dry objectivism, however, Helga Jahnke formally leans toward a slightly more synthetic and therefore expressionist style. This can also be seen in her choice of colors, which transcend reality to acquire symbolic meanings.\n\n Helga Jahnke is a German artist born in 1939. Her work, both paintings and prints, draws on a surrealist and expressionist aesthetic.","brand":"Mutzenbach Bettina","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":56217887867266,"sku":"BMUT003","price":1650.0,"currency_code":"EUR","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0909\/7065\/3058\/files\/JAHNKE-1.jpg?v=1768469151","url":"https:\/\/cjfh11-ee.myshopify.com\/en\/products\/attribuito-a-helga-jahnke-senza-titolo","provider":"Venderequadri","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
