His language is essentially figurative, but he makes slight expressionistic deformations that shift reality to a more lyrical and poetic plane. Even in this countryside view, we can see how objects are synthesized by a light touch that almost empties their forms, revealing their fragile and insubstantial structures. Thus, the bales of hay take on the strongly geometric appearance of perfect cylinders, while the field is traversed by a regular grid of crisscrossing black lines. Everything takes on a strongly essential aspect, and the representation of the landscape transcends nature itself to acquire a symbolic value. The color scheme also undergoes the same process of synthesis, emerging in a highly elaborate brushstroke of broad layers of color.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\n \u003cp\u003eClaudio Sardo was born in Cuneo in 1951. He began exhibiting in 1977, both in Italy and abroad.
