Indeed, in addition to the naturalistic interpretations of the Renaissance and various classicisms, which aimed for a truthful and detailed representation of the human body, the nude has also been a central theme in the new aesthetic concepts brought about by the historical avant-garde movements, such as Cubism, Expressionism, and Surrealism.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\n \u003cp\u003eLucian Dedita's Expressionism is based on the synthesis of the subject and the transcendence of contingent data in favor of a representation with broader meanings. This synthesis occurs through a dense, highly elaborately applied pictorial material, aiming to provide a symbolic, existential, almost dreamlike interpretation of the human figure. The figures thus become pure anatomical forms, yet they exhibit a very marked plasticity, deriving exclusively from the vibrations of the paint itself. The brushstrokes are energetic and vigorous, sketching out the figures in an instantaneous and unrepeatable rendering of their movement.
