Elia (Palmi), Mountains of Cittanova, Anoia seen from Polistena, Via del Ponte Vecchio, Sunset on Lake Patria, with a catalogue containing critical opinions by Francesco Jerace, Vincenzo Gemito (“This is how I express myself on your works: sensitive and loving pastels for what is produced in our era”); 1934, Cosenza - New headquarters of the Cosenza Academy (11th Exhibition of the painter AC, dedicated to Michele Bianchi), with forty-four works, including Sunset in the Sila Piccola, Aspects of the Ampollino, Vesuvius, A Street in Polistena, The Castle of San Giorgio Morgeto, Flowering Meadow Venice, Marina di Pozzuali (sic), Naples Botanical Garden, Fruit, In the Villa in Catanzaro, Pond, Old Vine, Fish, and Spring. He also exhibited abroad, in Paris, New York, and Brussels, always achieving success thanks to the high quality of his painting, always linked to the simplest motifs of romantic life and thanks above all to the elegant, soft, sweet color. In 1932, the artist's studio on Via Foria in Naples was visited by the poet Libero Bovio, who wrote the following about Cannata's art: \"This painter is an ancient artist, but he has a modern sensibility. He exhibited two Landscapes at the 2nd Polistena Art Exhibition in 1955. Some of his works are in the Palmi Museum and in the Polistena Town Hall. The pastel Case del Calvario was purchased by the national government for the Galleria d'Arte Moderna in Rome.
