Reality is interpreted in an extremely synthetic manner, with an exercise in extreme reduction, resulting in an abstract composition. The surface is completely two-dimensional, with no concessions to spatial depth; only the artist's marks hint at some intersection of planes. The brushstrokes delineate the forms in an instinctive, gestural manner. Color is used according to an emotional and spiritual interpretation, in a lyrical connection with reality.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\n \u003cp\u003eEugenio Galiano was born in Catanzaro in 1921 and devoted himself to painting from a young age, along with his brother Ezio, revealing a talent for the visual arts from the very beginning. Among his inspirations and teachers was Andrea Cefaly (father). Over the years, he refined his technique through numerous periods, each marked by its own style, until reaching full expressive maturity.
