The image is more suggestive than described, with the aim of evoking an atmosphere rather than depicting a specific scene.

The lines are free and subtle, typical of Treccani's graphic language. The colors are soft, applied in light layers, with a spontaneous composition. The work combines gesture and color directly, with a simple yet expressive style.

Ernesto Treccani (Milan, 1920–2009) was an Italian painter and intellectual, committed to both art and society. Son of the founder of the Treccani Institute, he founded the magazine Corrente (1938) at a very young age, becoming a prominent cultural promoter. After the Resistance, he developed a lyrical realism inspired by urban landscapes and Southern Italy. He exhibited in Italy and abroad and founded the Corrente Foundation in 1978. His painting, in dialogue with poetry, expressed a profound love for humanity and reality. He actively participated in cultural and political life, also designing the banners for the Palio di Siena (1977) and Asti (1986). His poetics combined feeling, words, and color in a humanistic and participatory vision of art.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0909/7065/3058/files/WhatsApp-Image-2025-02-10-at-10.34.22.jpg?v=1768489279
