The painter also uses a rapid hatching to further emphasize the play of shadows and washes of color to soften the objects.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\n \u003cp\u003eFelice Vellan was a Turin-born painter, born in 1889 and died in 1976. He trained at the Accademia Albertina and later frequented the studio of Giovanni Guarlotti, from whom he inherited his passion for landscape. In Turin, Felice Vellan founded the Evening School of Nude Painting and served first as a councilor and then as vice president of the city's Artists' Circle. He participated in numerous exhibitions, such as the Venice Biennale and the Rome and Turin Quadrennials, not only with paintings but also with engravings.
