In Turin, Felice Vellan founded the Evening School of Nude Painting and served first as a councilor and then as vice president of the city's Artists' Circle. He participated in numerous exhibitions, such as the Venice Biennale and the Rome and Turin Quadrennials, not only with paintings but also with engravings.
