The artist reworks all of this with a highly original aesthetic.\u003cbr\u003e\n\u003cbr\u003e \nIn this series of works, artist Francesca Romana Pinzari superimposes the human figure onto the written page in a highly distinctive and aesthetically striking manner. The female face is rendered as if it were a mechanical photographic enlargement: the image is saturated and its colors are brought to a very intense gradation. But everything is accomplished by the pictorial medium, using a transparent glaze technique that allows us to see what lies beneath. Thus, on the face, we can discern a collage of newspaper pages.
