Broad, textured brushstrokes, with a strong structural quality, construct the objects. Each brushstroke is placed on a different plane, creating the subject's volume. Everything is characterized by a highly pictorial quality that almost dissolves form and space, imbuing the work with a powerful expressiveness. In 1952 he held his first solo exhibition at the Palazzo di Parte Guelfa in Florence. In 1957, at the VIII National Exhibition of the Fiorino Prize in Florence, he was awarded the Publishers and Printers Prize. In 1979, the Culture Department of the Municipality of Milan organized a solo exhibition of his work entitled Immagini del Quotidiano.
