His success is primarily linked to Brazil. In 1954, he won the competition for the murals of the Palàcio do Cafè and the decorations of the Palacio da Fazenda in São Paulo. From 1957 to 1960, he painted the frescoes of the Taubatè Cathedral and, during the same period, painted the roof of the Church of Our Lady of Mount Carmel in Campinas.
