The landscape (still discernible from the horizon line separating sky and sea) undergoes a profound process of synthetic reduction that leads the artist to depict a minimal world, indicated by a few figures on flat, uniform layers of color in a two-dimensional space. In this way, Bruna Gasparini creates an almost surreal dimension, also characterized by intense colors with a highly symbolic and spiritual value. In this context, the artist also intervenes with a certain gestural nature that leads her to superimpose even more mysterious and hermetic pictorial signs onto this reality.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\n \u003cp\u003eBruna Gasparini was born in Mantua in 1913 and died in 1998 in Venice, the city where most of her painting career took place. Self-taught, she consistently achieved considerable critical and public success.
