Passionate about art from a young age, he graduated from the Como School of Art in 1969. He then enrolled at the Scuola Politecnica di Design (SPD) in Novara. Upon completing his studies in 1971, having graduated in Visual Design, he worked for five years in an advertising agency as an Art Director. In the late 1980s, during a stay in Amsterdam to study Van Gogh's paintings, he discovered tattooing at an industry convention and, after many adventures in sourcing the necessary materials in the US, began tattooing. In 1992, he opened the studio \"TATTOO STUDIO AL\", where, in addition to tattoos, he performs airbrushing on all types of materials: from helmets to motorcycles, refrigerators and anything else your imagination can dream up.
