In 1953, he held his first exhibition at the Bergamini Gallery in Milan. In 1956, he participated in the XXVIII Venice Biennale, and the following year in the Exhibition of Italian Realist Drawing in Moscow and Leningrad, as well as in the Exhibition of Young European Painting in Warsaw. In 1974, a retrospective exhibition of his work was held in Cesena.
