All of this coherently reflects the inclinations of the painter Giulio De Simone, whose artistic career is closely linked to Impressionism. The present work, however, is part of a series of views dedicated to Venice.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\n \u003cp\u003eThe painting was created with a remarkable Impressionist technique. The artist uses rapid brushstrokes, hatching, to quickly delineate shapes and volumes. This allows him to capture, with every single brushstroke, the effects of light and atmosphere on objects, and to instantly convey a city scene with precise weather and environmental conditions. The entire color palette is designed to reflect the precise atmospheric conditions he wishes to depict. The Venetian subject, with its canals, lends itself perfectly to De Simone's hatching, with its interplay of reflections and reverberations. Compared to his Parisian views, these works display a more pronounced perspective.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\n \u003cp\u003eGiulio De Simone is a painter born in 1936. He is strongly influenced by Impressionism, and much of his work consists of Parisian views that draw heavily from that style.
