The naturalistic depiction of landscape has been a major aspiration for artists of every era. Each historical period has offered its own interpretation of landscape, contributing to the evolution of its depiction: first with an exploration of space, through Brunelleschi's perspective in the early Renaissance; then with atmospheric rendering in the 16th century; and finally with the depiction of every single vibration of light on objects in Impressionism. In this work, Bruzzio combines rationalist landscape with an exploration of objects and the female figure in a composition with a metaphysical flavor.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\n \u003cp\u003eBruzzio's artistic production draws on the great Tuscan pictorial tradition that extends from the Renaissance to Ottone Rosai. A tradition built on a taste for compositions with an absolutely rational character. Bruzzio's paintings, in fact, feature objects with clear volumes, constructed on pure lines in artificially perspective spaces. Geometry clearly prevails over nature, creating a metaphysical sense of enigmatic suspension.
