To this end, the brushstroke, rich in texture, intervenes, which, despite the essentiality of the representation, breaks down the space into different planes, recording the vibrations of light and life in the subject. Thus, within a substantially two-dimensional surface, compressed in the foreground, the objects are constructed by the painter with broad, dense brushstrokes. Chromatically, moreover, the entire surface of the work is blended with a unifying palette, usually tending toward brown.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\n \u003cp\u003eLauro Bolondi, originally from San Polo D'Enza, passed away in Milan at the age of 90. He was a very popular figure, partly because, in addition to being a painter, he was a fairly successful boxer in his youth, earning the nickname \"Alì.\" As a painter, he graduated from the Reggio Emilia School of Art and furthered his studies at the Brera Academy.
