The violin is depicted from different perspectives to fully explore and assimilate its form. However, this form, still present and concrete, almost dissolves into constant movement and interaction with space. Leoncillo renders all of this with an extraordinary capacity for synthesis, manifested in an extremely fluid graphic style. All the violin's plastic qualities are transformed into movement and life by the artist's touch.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\n \u003cp\u003eLeoncillo Leonardi (Spoleto, 1915 – Rome, 1968) used exclusively ceramics throughout his career as the medium of choice for his sculptures (glazed, glazed, stoneware, engobes), inventing and manipulating formal and chromatic techniques and processes with unparalleled originality.
