This post-impressionist-derived technique, in addition to providing immediacy in execution, imbues the work with intense emotional and poetic vibrations. However, both in his choice of subject and his palette, centered on brown and earthy colors, one can observe a strong desire for realism in his execution in Lorenzo Albino's paintings.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\n \u003cp\u003eAlbino Lorenzo (Tropea, 1922 – 2005). During the 1950s, Lorenzo began to define the themes of his work. Between 1957 and 1960, he taught drawing at the Tropea Archiepiscopal Seminary. In the 1960s, he began to participate in and win awards at national and international group exhibitions (including in Paris, Deauville and Nice in France, Knokke in Belgium, and New York in the United States). He exhibited his works for the first time in a solo exhibition in Catanzaro in 1962.
