It doesn't seek photographic realism, but at the same time, it strives not to distort the objects depicted. The artist's painting appears instinctive, successfully combining the softness of the line with the strength of color. His works convey a certain lyricism, thanks in part to the base layer he applies to the canvas. By applying this relief matrix, he manages to create a vibrant, swirling effect throughout. Furthermore, he creates a stark contrast between the monochrome, neutral background and the rich chromatic range used for the foreground composition.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp class=\"p1\"\u003e Mara Barigelli is a painter with an academic background, having attended the Macerata Institute of Fine Arts.
