Siviero's assistant at the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome in the 1940s and 1950s, from 1938 he was close to the Academy of San Luca, where he attended the evening drawing school(1). Vittorio Cusatelli is cited in the academic minutes of 1938 as the author of the cleaning of one hundred and thirty portraits(2). His training as a restorer is not known, nor are any other restoration interventions known at the moment, even if only conservative. His teacher Siviero, certainly not a professional restorer, nevertheless carried out restorations, at a time in history in which the need for a specialization in restoration was not yet unanimously shared, it is therefore probable that Cusatelli borrowed this dual competence from Siviero, which he then never (or at least rarely) applied during his life(3). Cusatelli died in Rome.\u003c\/p\u003e","brand":"OSVALDO RUBINO","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":56220231401858,"sku":"OSRUB001","price":1100.0,"currency_code":"EUR","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0909\/7065\/3058\/files\/RUNINO-FR-1.jpg?v=1768489696","url":"https:\/\/cjfh11-ee.myshopify.com\/en\/products\/michele-vittorio-cusatelli","provider":"Venderequadri","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
