Each historical period has offered its own interpretation of landscape, contributing to the evolution of its depiction: first with an exploration of space, through Brunelleschi's perspective in the early Renaissance, then with atmospheric rendering in the 16th century, up until the depiction of every single vibration of light on objects in Impressionism.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n \u003cp style=\"text-align: justify;\"\u003eIn this intimate and desolate landscape, Mino Beppi demonstrates the quality of his painting technique. He uses color to create a more emotionally charged view. The artist manages to impart tonal unity to the entire surface of the painting. The landscape thus rests on a dense, hazy atmosphere. Things thus appear precariously visible, almost evanescent. This effect is further enhanced by the sparse brushstrokes, yet charged with a rich, textured color.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n \u003cp style=\"text-align: justify;\"\u003eMino Beppi was a painter originally from Gardone Val Trompia, where he was born in 1913. From an early age, he showed a propensity for drawing. He trained in Brescia under the guidance of the Mozzoni brothers, and in 1958 he exhibited his work in his first solo show with Giuseppe Mozzoni. In the following years, he held several solo exhibitions in his hometown, as well as in other Italian towns (Bolzano 1963, Gardone Riviera and Lumezzane 1965, Boario 1967, Vallio 1968\/72, Iseo and Sale Marasino 1970, Brescia 1976, Florence 1996).
