Symbolism or Expressionism are stylistic currents\u003cbr\u003e\n emblematic in having interpreted reality in a conceptual sense with a\u003cbr\u003e \niconic rendering of images and a symbolic interpretation in the use of color.\u003cbr\u003e\n In the artistic production of Mirko Pagliacci, one of the most important exponents\u003cbr\u003e\n of Metropolism, different styles mix together integrating figurative quotations\u003cbr\u003e\n expressive media that even look towards the Informal.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\n\u003cp\u003e The artistic movement of Metropolism, born between the end of the 80s and the beginning of the 90s\u003cbr\u003e\n of the 90s, proposed, in conjunction with the Transavanguardia, the return\u003cbr\u003e\n to the traditional means of painting and a more in-depth research on the contents.\u003cbr\u003e\n In this regard, Mirko Pagliacci's works propose\u003cbr\u003e\n a reflection on time, creating extremely complex compositions\u003cbr\u003e\n based on a trans-cultural syncretism. In the works of Mirko Pagliacci,\u003cbr\u003e\n in fact, post-archaeological elements mix with images of the\u003cbr\u003e\n contemporaneity. The whole thing is proposed with a fusion of styles where the finding\u003cbr\u003e\n archaeological, reproduced almost as a ready-made, is combined with\u003cbr\u003e \nan informal elaboration of the compositional space, where the pictorial gesture\u003cbr\u003e\n coexists with the sign and writing.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\n\u003cp\u003e Mirko Pagliacci was born in Lausanne in 1959. He graduated in Rome at the First\u003cbr\u003e\n Art High School on Via Ripetta with teachers Nicola Carrino of the Forma 1 Group\u003cbr\u003e\n and Amelio Roccamonte of Spatialism and then, always in Rome, he studied at the\u003cbr\u003e\n Nude School of the Academy of Fine Arts with Antonio Avenessian and Giulio\u003cbr\u003e\n Turcato. In 2000 he joined the Metropolismo artistic movement.\u003cbr\u003e\n theorized by Achille Bonito Oliva. Lives and works between Rome and Castiglione del Lago.\u003cbr\u003e\n Lake, in Umbria.
