From 1968 onwards, he taught at the Art School in Alessandria, and from 1970-72 he lectured on chromatology at the Brera Academy under Luigi Veronesi. In 1974, along with Bramati, Cremonini, and Lo Staino, he joined the Grum 74 group and participated in all of the movement's major exhibitions.
