Upon returning to Italy, he participated in the Rome Quadrennial and the following year in the Venice Biennale, where he had the opportunity to meet the writer Curzio Malaparte. In the years that followed, he continued to participate in both the Rome Quadrennial and the Venice Biennale, while also holding solo exhibitions in Italy's most important cities.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n \u003cp style=\"text-align: justify;\"\u003eAt the end of the Second World War he returned to Paris and from there he expanded his activity by participating in personal exhibitions in Belgium, France, Switzerland and the Netherlands.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp style=\"text-align: justify;\"\u003e In 1949-1950, Tamburi joined the important Verzocchi collection project, on the theme of work, submitting, in addition to a self-portrait, the work \u003ci\u003eLa fornace\u003c\/i\u003e . The Verzocchi collection is currently held at the Pinacoteca Civica in Forlì.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp style=\"text-align: justify;\"\u003e In 1952 he also had a brief and isolated experience as a film actor, playing, directed by Roberto Rossellini, the episode \u003ci\u003e\"Envy\"\u003c\/i\u003e of the film \u003ci\u003e\"The Seven Deadly Sins\"\u003c\/i\u003e .\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp style=\"text-align: justify;\"\u003e Back in Italy he continued to exhibit in the most important cities of the peninsula and between 1955 and 1956 he travelled to the United States where he exhibited in Los Angeles, San Francisco and New York at important museums.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n \u003cp style=\"text-align: justify;\"\u003eUpon returning to Europe, he continued his travels, first visiting London in 1960, and then Greece and Austria.
