A Franciscan, his real name is Paolo Perotti. Paolo da Norcia later refined his education by attending the studios of figures such as Morando, Treccani, Brindisi, and Caffé. His in-depth study of the rationalists and metaphysicians (De Chirico, Sironi, Carrà) contributed to the definition of the artist's expressive language, a proponent of metaphysical primitivism.
