To this end, the brushstroke, rich in texture, intervenes, fleshing out the objects, breaking them down into different planes, recording the vibrations of light and life within them. The sensory aspect, therefore, is completely transcended in a complex conception of pictorial practice in which the artist's gestures also play a fundamental role. Chromatically, the entire surface of the work is blended with a balanced palette of references and correspondences.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\n \u003cp\u003eRemo Cassina, Moncalvo 1909-1964. Considered a fine figurative artist, he painted the vineyards and hills between the Langhe and Monferrato regions, marine themes, and above all, places and people from his homeland. Highlights include the Church of Castelletto Merli, the Marioni Furnace, and Boats with Fishermen. Among his portraits are Self-Portrait. Blonde Girl and Preliminary Pastel, Girl Dressed in Blue, and Blonde Boy.
