Over the course of his career, he wrote several textbooks, including \"Arti Figurative,\" a three-volume drawing course for middle schools, and \"Dimensione Grafica,\" a textbook on drawing and art history for high schools, co-authored with other authors. Both texts were published by Angelo Signorelli of Rome. In the 1980s, Golinelli also worked as a gallery owner: from 1980 to 1985, he owned the \"Nuova Mutina\" art gallery, for which he founded and edited a periodical of the same name with his wife, Elvezia Dondi.
