The work is an abstract composition. "Abstract" derives from the Latin term "abstrahere," which means to extract or draw out. The process of abstraction, in fact, consists of eliminating the particular and individual aspects of an object to derive a universal concept. From Kandinsky to Mondrian, from Pollock to Mirò, many painters have pushed the process of abstraction to the limit in their works, paradoxically creating pure forms and colors that do not exist in nature, or translating their emotions and instincts into images.

In this painting, ADG's style is grounded in color, texture, and painterly gesture. Even in his compositions, even the completely abstract ones, he always seems to maintain a certain sense of geometry and compositional balance. The artist seeks to somehow channel his creative flow by arranging his strokes with a certain rationality. This rationalist spirit emerges forcefully in the present work, dominated by the perfect shape of the sphere. This is complemented by the two-tone canvas, defined by a clear line.
