Adriano Pavan feels the strong call of nature, a lush mother, generator of events, forms, and light. The underlying color palette, which essentially ranges from green to blue, opens up scenarios of dense vegetal phrasings, almost like sacred groves borrowed from classical antiquity. Within these hues lies the mystery of a thriving life, within which childlike faces and bodies take shape, considered metaphors for a dream that exists within all men. The icy beauty of the figures seems to rest solely on the construction of light, which is at times the trigger for mysterious explosions of color, as if the existing world were permeated by a mysterious energy; this energy becomes a continuous flow of signs in a background texture, stretching from apparently monochromatic areas to others of dense combinations of hues and their tones.
