Landscape has always been a central theme in artistic research, both as a setting, as a backdrop, and as a subject itself. Aldo Conti was a Milanese painter, born in 1890 and died in 1988, who worked primarily in Liguria. He learned painting in Paris in the studio of Paul De Castro. He participated in all the exhibitions of the Permanente and the Sindacati in Milan; in those of the Cultori e Amatori di Belle Arti and in the First Quadriennale in Rome; he also exhibited at the Paris Salon and in Buenos Aires.
