Alessandro Ciantelli was a self-taught painter, his only guide in his development being the Tuscan countryside where he grew up. It is precisely the colors of the fields and the sensations conveyed by contact with nature that Ciantelli seeks to express in his paintings. For this reason, his pictorial approach begins with the landscape, but abstracts it into color and pure forms to connect the representation to a fully emotional dimension.
