LAFORÊT , Alessandro. - Born in Milan on March 27, 1863, to Eugenio and Teresa Rovida. He studied at the Brera Academy of Fine Arts, under the guidance of A. Borghi and F. Barzaghi, and made his debut in 1882 in the school's annual exhibitions with the chalk piece Svogliatezza .
