Alessandro Marrone (born in 1966, lives and works in Arezzo) has already enjoyed a long artistic career that has brought him significant recognition and commissions, especially abroad. Well-known as a sculptor, Alessandro Marrone's painting also focuses on the exaltation of matter and plasticity. The forms of his subjects are constructed either through an elaborate, vibrant pictorial ductus, or through the use of a geometric pictorial language and a mechanomorphic reconstruction of reality that draws on the Cubo-Futurist world.
