Flowers, or plants in general, as independent subjects, began to appear in still lifes, a genre that emerged in the early 17th century. In 1960 and 1962, he participated in the Fiorino exhibition. He won the competition to create the altarpiece for the Scolopi church. His works are exhibited at the Kessel Museum alongside artists such as Gauguin, Cézanne, and Picasso.
