Landscape has always been a central theme in artistic research, both as a setting, as a backdrop, and as a subject itself. The naturalistic depiction of landscape has been a major aspiration for artists of every era. Each historical period has offered its own interpretation of landscape, contributing to the evolution of its depiction: first with an exploration of space, through Brunelleschi's perspective in the early Renaissance; then with atmospheric rendering in the sixteenth century; and finally with the depiction of every single vibration of light on objects in Impressionism.

Angela Calderaro's painting style is meticulous in achieving a perfect naturalistic rendering, occasionally alternating with a more painterly touch to give greater freshness to the composition. Angela Calderaro was born in Taranto in 1964 and currently lives and works in the province of Rome. She has received numerous awards, including cups, trophies, and diplomas, from various exhibitions and events in which she has participated, including: the Galassia International Art Academy, the Temple of Art, the mini-solo exhibition Arte Rassegna Re di Roma, Contemporary Art on the Sea at the Ostia Pier, the Bari Art Expo, Toffia, Palestrina, the Figurative Art of Milan, Guidonia, Bracciano, Grottaferrata, Anguillara, Carmagnola, Fiuggi, Cervia, and the Cento Pittori via Margutta. She achieved great artistic success in 2004, winning the prestigious national "Giacomo Manzù" award with her work "Ricordi."
