Angelo Lamorgese's style presents a perfect fusion of realism and a delicate, impressionistic rendering of sensory details. Angelo Lamorgese was born in Molfetta in 1951, the city where he lives and works. He studied at the Art School in Bari, where he developed an early interest in architecture. Since the mid-1970s, he has focused on figurative art, particularly the study of the female figure and the Apulian landscape. His landscapes are a delicate and refined fusion of realism and impressionism. Recently, he has also focused on the subject of the olive tree, another typical feature of the Apulian countryside, developing a highly distinctive material technique.
