Angie - The Importance of Roots

Angie is the pseudonym of Angela Prete, a painter from Brindisi who discovered her passion for art at age 31. Looking at Angie's works, we can't help but be amazed by their technical quality, despite her self-taught training. This painter's works, in fact, reproduce reality photographically while simultaneously imbuing her subjects with vitality. This is essentially due to her brushstrokes, which, despite their descriptive precision, manage to bring skin tones to life with a dynamic delivery and fill her subjects with light through the modulation of color.
