Indeed, the female figure appears in all its naturalness and anatomical truth, thanks to the artist's flawless technique, which manages to depict the subject with vivacity and a sense of plasticity. The figure's surface is shaded in light, making it appear alive and vibrant. At the same time, however, the artist achieves a marked formal synthesis: starting with the shawl enveloping the woman, the pictorial approach becomes more expressionistic. The dense, textured brushstrokes transfigure the subject, which now seems to dissolve into the color and chromatic substance, achieving a highly lyrical and evocative representation. The figure thus blends perfectly into the space, where even the background is composed of a highly dynamic and expressive brushstroke.
