He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence and, in the same city, attended the graphic specialization courses at Bisonte.
He is a teacher of engraving techniques at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna.
Toni Pecoraro's style is a classy charm, completely original and personal, which adds to his engravings the sense of an absolute expressive "necessity": the solutions adopted cannot be obtained with other means, tools and materials other than those of chalcographic engraving which
they find in their very nature a different materialization, yes technical, but at the same time formal and expressive.
