Antonio Di Michele was born in Castilenti (TE) in 1953.

Impressionist painter, he participated in group exhibitions and competitions in various Italian cities and among the appearances and awards he received are:

– Golden Lion Award at the Sanremo Casino

– European International Award

– International Trophy in Limone Piemonte, of which he is one of the founding members of the Pinacoteca Museum.

Critics such as E. Gaggino, L. Fumagalli, C. Walter, LM Argoult and others have written about him in national and international newspapers, magazines and art catalogues.

His works are held in the Limone Piemonte Art Gallery, numerous galleries, and various collections in Italy and abroad. His expressive sensitivity also led him to undertake a restoration experience in the workshop of the master G. Leonardi.

In a new pictorial journey, he has come to reflect reality through brushstrokes of color that, between sea, sky, and land, enhance the chromatic harmonies of the landscape that surrounds him, particularly Liguria, where he lives and works in Bussana Vecchia di Sanremo (IM), the international artists' village. It is from this context that his figures emerge, with their rugged and vigorous features, reminiscent of the characteristics of this region.
