Antonio Pasciuti is a painter originally from Lacedonia, born in 1937. He left his teaching career to devote himself exclusively to painting, which he practices in his studio in Santeramo in Colle. His subjects draw inspiration from the Bari hinterland, which has earned him the nickname "the painter of the Murge." His landscapes are distinguished by a vibrant post-impressionist technique that emphasizes the effects of light and color. In recent years, he has also devoted himself to abstract experimentation.
