Harmony is a musical term, indicating a composition of sounds that is pleasant. I'm not a musician and understand little about this art. I borrowed its meaning to title this photograph, in which the flower, taken as a symbol of beauty, transforms into a desire for harmony. The works represent a contemplative impulse toward beauty, the desire for wholeness, a desire for synthesis and unity... A desire for harmony. The photograph is part of a series with the same title.
