Giancarlo Bettis's depiction of the white farmhouse expresses a dense painting that seeks to offer the viewer an intimate scene. Born in Treviso on July 5, 1936, Giancarlo Bettis was a self-taught artist. After various experiences as a painter, he developed a unique use of color, using a technique of his own invention to prepare his frescoes. He also produced a vast array of oil paintings, created in the artist's magnificent studio, located in the heart of Treviso, in Sant'Agostino. His works are held in numerous private collections. He died in 2014.
