Landscape has always been a central theme in artistic research, both as a setting, as a backdrop, and as a subject itself. The naturalistic depiction of landscape has been an artist's aspiration throughout the centuries. Each historical period has offered its own interpretation of landscape, contributing to the evolution of its depiction: first with an exploration of space, through Brunelleschi's perspective in the early Renaissance, then with atmospheric rendering in the sixteenth century, up until the depiction of every single vibration of light on objects in Impressionism.

The work is constructed using a lively impressionistic hatching technique that constructs the objects in a complex vision. The artist thus seeks to capture all the vibrations of light on the objects and the reflections on the water's surface. A compositional sink. The result is a landscape of great executive freshness, determined above all by a skillful use of color.
